The black box issue come from the renderer they used for the project. Godot Forward+ has issues rendering transparencies for higher end computers. They would need to switch it to compatibility rendering to remove the black boxes.
Hey, this is pretty nice, though I've found myself also running into an issue with the kobolds having black boxes like some other people have been. Hope you're able to find a fix soon though.
Sorry about that! It's been a bit of a mystery to me, unfortunately. Could you tell me what graphics card you're using? I have a hunch it might be because some GPUs might not agree with the Vulkan renderer Godot uses. I'm gonna see if I can upload a version without it.
This is adorable! Any possibility of a Linux version? It does run under WINE, but the color picker doesn't work and I always find myself less willing to run non-native software.
Thank you! I believe I can export it to Linux, although I won't be able to test it myself. I'll try and have it uploaded tonight or tomorrow for you though!
This is so good. I hope you keep updating it. I wish I could pick them up and that they had more interactions. I wish I could put clothes on them. Ect ect; But what it is rn is still really cute and nice
Thank you! I'm gonna be taking some time off this (especially since I want to participate in a game jam this month), but I do plan on poking at this more! Especially with more interactions! I still have plenty of ideas I wanted to do, but ended up cutting to meet my self imposed deadline.
Hmm, I'm honestly not sure. I had someone else report this issue, but I have very little idea what could be causing it. My best guess is your computer may not agree with Godot's renderer. I'll have to look into it... sorry about that.
My kobold looks so lonely by itself can you make it so we can make multiple kobolds so it'll have a nice little group? I know it might not be a small task but damn it i want my 'bold to have friends ;;;
I can't say when the next update for this will be, since I've been splitting my focus between this project and another... but I have been working on that very feature! :)
It's lovely, I love all the creatures you can make here! One small suggestion I would make would be to add an option to change the outline colour, as it can blend in with certain body colours - but other than that, I adore everything about it!

This is so cute oh my god, I love it. I love the sounds the kobold make!
Same black box issue. Using an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT.

It's a nvidia geforce mx150 I believe? I'm absolutely clueless with computers, sorry.

I'm happy to test it for you if you'd like!
